Two robbers were allegedly shot by police when a shootout ensued in Muckleneuk on Friday morning.
Two alleged robbers were apparently shot and killed by police on Friday morning.
According to an eyewitness, the incident played out on Mears Street in Muckleneuk.
Details are not yet clear but it is alleged that a crossfire ensued between the police and the alleged robbers.
Police confirmed that an incident had occurred, but could not supply any details at this early stage.
