Cop appears in court for murder of police officer
A police officer appeared in court this week in connection with the murder of Lieutenant Colonel Logois
A police constable appeared in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court on Monday in connection with the murder of Lieutenant-Colonel Reinier Logois who was shot in his Moot home last month.
Hawks spokesperson Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi said Constable Rishen Rampashard of the Pretoria West police was arrested on Friday, and would reappear on Monday 8 February.
Logois was found dead in his Moot home on 20th Avenue and his car was missing.
Investigators found 14 ammunition cartridges at the scene. His car, a silver-grey Toyota Corolla was found several kilometres from his home two days later.
Logois had been stationed at the Loate police station in Soshanguve.
