Four arrested at Marabastad scrapyards
Tshwane Metro Police arrested four suspects in possession of suspected stolen property.

Four men were arrested on Friday, at two different scrapyards in Marabastad.
Tshwane metro police (TMPD) spokesperson, Superintendent Isaac Mahamba said the suspected stolen property, mostly scrap metal, had a collective of R165 000.
He said the men were between the ages of 29 and 32 years old.
“They will appear in court on Monday.”
It is unknown what the men were doing at the scrapyards, and TMPD are investigating.
Mahamba said the metro police had received numerous complaints about crime in Marabastad.
“We will investigate and work until the area is safe.”
