A man was seriously injured when his car overturned in the north of Pretoria on Saturday night.
Netcare 911 spokesperson, Athlenda Mathe said paramedics were called around 23:00 to the scene on the corner of Sefako Makgatho Drive (Zambesi) and Aldo Street.
“It was a single light-motor vehicle that rolled, ending up on its roof, with a man trapped inside,” said Mathe.
She said the vehicle landed on his arm, pinning him down. Emergency services staff on the scene moved swiftly to lift the vehicle and free the man.
The car was the only vehicle involved and the cause of the accident was not immediately clear.
“He suffered serious injuries and was stabilised on the scene before taken to hospital,” Mathe concluded.
