Drug busts continue on Brown Street
Tshwane metro police continue to arrest drug dealers in Brown Street this week.
Eleven more people have been arrested on Brown Street on Monday, following raids by the Tshwane metro police (TMPD).
Spokesperson Inspector Phindile Molefe said heroine, dagga and drug paraphernalia were confiscated.
“The estimated value is R565.”
The arrest follows another seven people who were arrested at the weekend, in the same notorious street.
“Seven people were arrested on Brown Street for dealing in drugs.”
Molefe said the TMPD was monitoring the street regularly.
“We have received numerous complaints of criminal activities taking place there. Officers will continue to monitor the situation. Anyone found dealing in or possessing drugs will be arrested.”
