Man in court for gogo’s rape
The bail application of the 51-year-old man who raped a 77-year-old gogo in Winterveldt has been denied.

A Winterveldt man accused of raping a 77-year-old woman made his second appearance in the Ga-Rankuwa Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
Mongameli Mdinga was refused bail and the matter was postponed to 22 March.
Mdinga (51) was arrested for allegedly raping the old woman in her Winterveldt home on 15 February.
Apparently he entered her house while she was asleep around 05:00 on the day of the crime. Police said he allegedly threatened her before forcing himself on her.
Locals alerted the police, who were swiftly on the scene to arrest the man.
