NEWSFLASH: Woman robbed at gunpoint at Unitas hospital
Two armed men were at large after they robbed a woman at gunpoint at Unitas hospital on Tuesday.
A woman was robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot of Unitas hospital in Centurion on Tuesday afternoon.
Lyttelton CPF Sector 1 chairperson Hugo Erasmus said the woman was in her car when she was approached by three armed men just before 15h00.
The men knocked on her window and instructed her to open, he said.
“They were armed with silver 9mm pistols and told her if she doesn’t open, they will shoot her.”
After opening her door, the men took her cellphones, laptops and jewellery. They walked out of the back of the hospital. No one saw anything,” he said.
He said patrollers’ search for the robbers was futile.
“Orange Fox security, Copwatch, ADT, Monitor Net and Lyttelton Neighbourhood Watch also responded to the scene. The suspects are still at large.”
