Trial of Mams suspected serial killer to start
Trial start for the suspected Mamelodi serial killer.
Suspected Mamelodi serial killer Daniel Ntokozo Masango (25) will appear in court for his trial from 14 to 18 March.
This follows his appearance on 15 February on charges of kidnapping, murder and the rape of Katlego Ndlovu (23).
Her body was found behind a Shell filling station in Mamelodi East. She had been raped.
Masango was arrested on 4 May last year.
The residents of Mamelodi joined by the ANC Women League and 4+1 taxi association signed a petition last year, demanding that his bail application be denied.
They demanded his speedy prosecution, claiming the seriousness of the case against him necessitated swift justice.
