Biker airlifted to hospital after Centurion crash
A motorcyclist was flown to hospital after he collided with a pedestrian and a car in Centurion.
A motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital after he collided with a pedestrian and a car in Centurion on Friday afternoon.
Emer-G-Med spokesperson Braam Kruger said this happened on Rooihuiskraal Road, The Reeds around 13:30 when the motorcyclist (40) was allegedly changing lanes.
“Apparently the motorcyclist was lane splitting. He drove into a pedestrian, lost control and collided with a car,” Kruger said.
He said the man was critically injured and was airlifted to hospital by Netcare 911.

“The pedestrian suffered moderate injuries and was transported to hospital.”
Netcare 911 spokesperson Athlenda Mathe said the motorcyclist was flown to a Johannesburg hospital.
