Four people were arrested for dealing in drugs in Brown Street in the city centre on Thursday.
Central police spokesperson Captain Augustinah Selepe said the culprits were dealing in nyaope, cannabis and crystal meth.
“It was during a regular joint operation between us and the metro police where we tackle crime issues in the CBD that we found these suspects,” Selepe said.
She was not certain when they would appear in court.
“If they didn’t appear today (Friday), they will be appearing on Monday in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court.”
The Tshwane metro police department (TMPD) applauded the arresting officers on its Facebook page.
Metro police spokesperson senior superintendent Isaac Mahamba was not available for comment.
