Man extricated from car in Centurion accident

A man was trapped in his car after collision with another vehicle in Centurion on Tuesday.

The fire department extricated a man trapped in his vehicle after an accident in Centurion on Tuesday morning, Emer-G-Med ambulance service said.

Spokesperson Braam Kruger said two cars collided on the corner of Oak and Tegel avenues in Eco Park.

“One person was seriously injured and confined in the car. They had to be freed by the fire department,” he said.

He said the female passenger was moderately injured.

They were both treated on the scene before being taken to hospital.

“Traffic was affected and police were investigating,” he said.
