NEWSFLASH: Two shot in attempted robbery
Two men fight for their lives after an attempted robbery near Kameeldrift Primary School on Friday,

Two men were shot in a robbery in Kameeldrift west of Pretoria on Friday night.
It is understood that the gang of about eight robbers only managed to make off with a cellphone.
Best care spokesperson Xander Loubser said their team responded to a call about two men having been shot at a plot near Kameeldrift Primary school on Friday.
He said the both men were shot in the upper body.
“One of the men was shot once, and the other shot four times and remained in a serious condition,” said Loubser.
He said it was difficult for emergency personnel to breathe or see at the scene of the crime as one of the women at the residence had defended herself by using pepper spray during the robbery.
Loubser said the victims were in their 20’s and were stabilised and transported to a nearby hospital.
He thanked all Hercules CPF members that were there for clearing the intersections for the ambulance on their way out.
“These guys deserved an applause for their assistance.”
Loubser said a police K9 unit responded to the robbery.
Police could not be reached for comment at time of publishing.
Reports indicate that only a cellphone was stolen, and about 7 or 8 men were involved. The gang was believed to have previously terrorised the community but police were still to confirm this claim.
