Water tankers sent to Mams due to shortage
The Tshwane metro distributed water tankers to parts of Mamelodi as technicians failed to repair a burst water pipe due to the rain.

Mamelodi residents were still without water on Saturday as technicians could not complete repairs on Friday due to wet weather, the Tshwane metro said.
Large parts of Mahube Valley and Mamelodi east experienced water shortage on Friday after a Rand Water main supply pipe burst.
Technicians were sent to the site to repair the burst pipe but could not complete their work due to the rain.
“Water tankers will be distributed to Mamelodi extensions 6, 8, 11, 12, 18, 22 and Mahube Valley. We apologise for the inconvenience caused,” the metro said on Facebook.
