A driver fled the scene after his truck overturned in Brooklyn on Tuesday morning.
The incident happened around 09:40 on 19th Avenue, paramedics said.
“Upon arrival at the scene, paramedics found a truck had overturned in the middle of the road. It was also discovered that the driver of the truck ran off before paramedics or police arrived on the scene,” SMART Medics Ambulance Service spokesperson Sello Kekana said.
Kekana said no other vehicles were involved.
“Police were at the scene; the cause of the incident and the whereabouts of the man are being investigation,” he said.
Brooklyn police were unaware of the incident.
