Pta cops nab 28 over drugs

The Tshwane metro police continued to make arrests relating to drug dealing and possession across Pretoria.

No fewer than 28 drug-related arrests were made throughout Pretoria the past weekend, the Tshwane metro police said.

Spokesperson Inspector Phindile Molefe said the culprits were found with crystal meth, dagga, heroin, cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

“Three were arrested in Soshanguve, one in Silverton, one in Pretoria CBD, another in Hercules and five in Paul Kruger Street in the CBD.”

She said the remaining 17 were arrested in the notorious Brown Street.

“The total number of drug arrests in Brown Street from mid-February to date is 123.”
