Pensioner arrested for dagga

The man was arrested after a police received a drug tip-off to his house.

An alleged 60-year-old drug dealer was arrested after drugs were found in his house in Temba recently.

Temba police spokesperson Constable Herman Moremi said the dealer was arrested in Hans Kekana View around 23:00 after a tip-off.

“Police received a tip-off after bags of drugs were seen being delivered at a certain house. Police traced the house and inside, they found and arrested a 60-year-old pensioner.”

Moremi said four bags full of dagga were found inside the house. The value of the dagga was unknown.

“The man will appear in the Moretele Magistrate’s Court on Monday facing charges of possession of dagga.”
