Store robbed in the early hours of Saturday morning, electronics stolen.

The Incredible Connection store in Centurion Mall was robbed again on Saturday morning, the second time in a week.

Centurion concerned citizens spokesperson Hannes du Buisson said six men entered the mall at 05:00 on Saturday morning and held up a security guard at gunpoint before breaking open the store.

“The men stole several Sansui TVs and Apple electronics before fleeing in a Hyundai H1 panel van and a gold Volkswagen Touareg,” said Du Buisson.

The value of the stolen items is not yet known.

Store staff could not comment on the robbery, and instead referred Rekord to their head office, which they said was closed over weekends.

Lyttelton police could not yet comment on the robbery.

This follows a robbery at the same store on Monday evening.

Late on Monday night an unknown number of men robbed the store of an unknown amount of tablet computers and 30 PlayStations.

Lyttelton police spokesperson Warrant Officer Hero Gumbu ealier said the items stolen on Monday totalled R350 000.

It is unknown if the two robberies were committed by the same men.
