Stolen generator mystery

Police and security companies rushed to a bus depot on Thursday after a power generator was reported stolen.

A commercial generator stolen in Equestria on Thursday, has been found in Raslow Centurion.

Directorate of Specialized Security’s operations manager Martin Barnard said it was found at a bus depot in Raslow on Thursday afternoon.

He said the security company received a call about a stolen generator and immediately went to the scene.

Barnard said GPS coordinates led his response team to the generator.

He said a security guard and the [business service] manager were at the depot at the time but none were arrested.

OrangeFox spokesperson Vanessa Jacobs confirmed the generator found and said it was after a lengthy tracking operation that the generator was found.

She said an aerial team from Capital Air assisted greatly in the finding of the generator.

Jacobs said the team raided the bus depot were the tracking team traced the generator.

“We found an empty bus depot and at the back of the premises on top of a trailer we found the generator.”

She said the Matrix unit, DSS and police were at the scene.

Police were still to confirm where in Equestria the generator was stolen and how it was transported to Centurion.

In December last year, a man was arrested trying to steal a generator from a church, Shalom Centurion, on Johann Avenue.
