Man found stabbed in face

A man was found behind his steering wheel with multiple stab wounds on Monday night.

A man is in a critical condition in hospital after he was found behind his steering wheel with multiple stab wounds on Monday night.

Netcare911 spokesperson Athlenda Mathe said medics responded to a call on the corner of Lynwood Road and Solomon Mahlangu Drive in the east of Pretoria.

“Around 23:13 medics found the man sitting in the driver’s seat of his vehicle with multiple stab wounds,” she said.

It was unclear if the man was a victim of an attempted hijacking or robbery.

Mathe said medics stabilised the man before taking him to hospital.

She said police were investigating but at time of publishing, they had not responded to a Rekord enquiry.
