Traffic was backed up on the N1 between Rigel Avenue and Garsfontein Road on Thursday morning, after two vehicles collided while trying to avoid an SBV which had broken down in the middle of the road.
“No one was seriously injured,” said Emer-G-med spokesperson Braam Kruger.
The area was quickly cordoned off as police quickly responded to the scene.
Traffic was reportedly at a standstill.
