Two arrested a second time
Two men where arrested recently and police made a discovery after they got to the station.
Two men have been arrested in Faerie Glen, east of Pretoria in possession of tools used for car theft and suspected stolen property on Tuesday morning.
Garsfontein police Warrant Officer Dave Miller said two detectives on patrol noticed two men acting suspiciously on Petrick Avenue in Faerie Glen.
Miller said the men’s vehicle was parked as though to hide between two vehicles.
The two officers questioned them and searched their vehicle.
The officers found tools used for car theft such as screwdrivers and other tools.
“The two men were asked about some of the items they had in their possession and could not offer factual answers,” Miller said.
Miller said this was not the first arrest for two men. They had been arrested previously on similar charges of stolen property.
He said the two would appear at the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court soon.
