Bozwana’s brother seek justice
Benedict Bozwana call’s for justice in brother's murder trial.
Six months after his brother’s assassination, Benedict Bozwana has called for justice to prevail in the murder trial.
Wandile Bozwana was assassinated on 2 October 2015 on the Garsfontein off-ramp.
Bozwana, the director of Orgazma Energy Drinks, was driving with Orgazma events co-ordinator Mpho Baloyi when assailants men opened fire on their yellow Renault Clio RS.
He was hit nine times and succumbed to his wounds in hospital that evening.
Baloyi was hit twice but survived the attack.
Bozwana’s involvement in government tenders was called into question after the murder.
Three men were arrested in connection with his murder. They appeared in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday 17 February.
The court ordered that their identities not be revealed by the media.
The matter was postponed to 20 April.
With the case looming, Benedict said he hoped justice would prevail.
“Since the arrest, I haven’t heard anything from the police,” said Benedict.
“I will be in court when the case resumes. I am hoping for a positive outcome at the end of all of this.”
