Man shot multiple times
A man was airlifted to hospital on Monday after he was shot multiple times.
A man was was shot and wounded in Mamelodi on Monday morning, paramedics said.
Netcare 911 spokesperson Chris Botha said the 34-year-old man was rushed to Mamelodi Day hospital by a resident.
“The family contacted Netcare 911 to assist at the hospital. Paramedics arrived to find the man in a critical condition with multiple wounds,” he told Rekord.
The Netcare Helicopter was sent to the scene and airlifted him to a specialised private hospital.
It was not immediately clear what led to the shooting and the police were investigating.
