Pedestrians killed in Centurion accidents
Two pedestrians were killed when they were hit by vehicles in Centurion, Orange Fox security said.

Pedestrians are urged to ensure they were visible on the roads after two men were killed while crossing the road in Centurion.
A man in his 30s lost his life on Monday morning, when he was hit by a car in Sunderland Ridge.
“He was crossing the R55 near the industrial area around 06:30 and was hit by a truck. He appeared to be a builder as he had a building equipment on him,” said Orange Fox Reaction Unit spokesperson Ruan Heyns.
A man, in his 20s, had lost his life the night before, when he was hit in Erasmia.
“The man was crossing the R511 and was hit by a Polo. He suffered multiple injuries and later died,” Heyns said.
Heyns said there was a rise in pedestrian-vehicle accidents in Pretoria, and urged to prioritise their safety by following these safety tips:
– Wear a reflective jacket when using the road in the dark
– Cross the road in a well-lit area
– Check if the road is clear on both sides before crossing
– Carry something with which you can be identified in case of an emergency
