Police look to false prophet for answers
Man wanted for questioning in relation to an attempted murder case
Ga-Rankuwa police are still searching for Justice Montha Chabadimaketse (36).
Police believe the wanted man can help them solve an attempted murder case.
Spokesperson Warrant Officer Mathews Nkoadi said the man was wanted for questioning in relation to two cases of robbery too.
“The suspect was apparently involved in an attack which left a 32 year old victim seriously injured. The victim was attacked with an axe and was subsequently hospitalised for four weeks in the George Mukhari Academic Hospital ICU,” said Nkoadi.
He was reportedly out on parole when he committed these alleged crimes.
“He also goes by a number of aliases including Prophet and Moruti,” said Nkoadi.
He appealed to residents to assist the police locate the suspect.
