NEWSFLASH: Man killed by 6 ton glass
The man was declared dead after glass fell off the truck onto him.
A truck driver was killed when glass weighing about 6 tons fell on him in Centurion on Tuesday, Netcare 911 said.
Spokesperson Athlenda Mathe said, the glass which had been on the truck, fell on the driver in Lenchen Avenue in Hennopspark around 10:30.
“Paramedics arrived on scene and found the man had already died due to the extensive injuries he sustained.”
The exact details as to how the glass fell on top of him will be investigated by police.
