Two bodies found after pedestrian accident
Paramedics found the body of a man shortly after another died in a pedestrian accident.
Two people were found dead next to Mabopane Highway on Thursday night.
Shortly after paramedics declared a man dead in a pedestrian accident, another body was found nearby.
Best Care ambulance service spokesperson Xander Loubser said they responded to a call about a pedestrian accident on the Mabopane Highway on Thursday night.
A motorist had hit something while driving but was unsure what he had hit.
“After searching for what the vehicle hit, the body of a young man was found about 100 metres from the car,” Loubser said.
The man was declared dead on scene by Loubser.
Later on Thursday night another body was found about 100 meters from the first body.
“Hercules SAPS are investigating whether the two bodies are from the same accident,” said Loubser.
Hercules police could not be reached for comment immediately.
