A get-away vehicle with stolen goods and a firearm have been found by police after a string of burglaries in the north of Pretoria.
They retrieved six plasma television sets, jewellery and a firearm from the abandoned vehicle in Soshanguve on Wednesday.
Pretoria North police officials were following up on reports about three housebreaking’s in Ninapark earlier that day.
“The vehicle had a flat tyre and the suspects seemed to have abandoned it when they fled,” said police spokesperson Warrant Officer Nkoadi Matthews.
Police were still searching for the culprits who left the car in Block F in Soshanguve.
The Ford ST, the stolen goods and the firearm were confiscated.
The police officials concerned were praised for their diligence and continued determination to hunt down the criminals.
