Mabopane highway bodies mystery

Police unaware of bodies found by paramedics on Mabopane Highway.

Mystery surrounds the bodies found on the Mabopane highway last week.

Rekord reported the gruesome find by paramedics when they discovered a body while attending a call-out about a pedestrian who had been hit by a vehicle.

Last Thursday Best Care ambulance service spokesperson Xander Loubser said they responded to a call about a pedestrian accident on the Mabopane Highway.

Upon arrival they found the body of a young man about 100 metres from where the car had reportedly hit a pedestrian. The pedestrian was declared dead on the scene, Loubser said.

Later that Thursday night, another body was found about 100 meters from the first body.

Today (a week later) police spokesperson Captain Bonginkosi Msimango said he was unaware of the two bodies, despite the paramedics saying Hercules police were investigating the case.
