Two suspects arrested for suspicious behaviour

Joyful week of arrests for Pretoria East security firm.

Two suspected criminals were arrested for suspicious behaviour ealier this week in Faerie Glen, east of Pretoria.

One man was arrested on Wednesday during a random stop and search operation.

The “suspicious male hiding something” was stopped and searched on Navada Street said Bull Security spokesperson, French Jooste.

The man was stopped while Bull Security was on a routine patrol.

Jooste said the man was caught with 30.9 gram dagga in his possession.

The other man was arrested on Thursday at 20:00 after Bull Security received a panic activation alarm from MBT filling station.

“The suspect stole items from the shop and tried to flee the scene,” Jooste said.

The man was caught by security officers and was arrested as he was fleeing the scene said Jooste.

He said the man tried to get away with toiletries.

The two suspects were handed over to Garsfontein police.

Police could not be reached for comment by the time of publishing.
