Man killed in dangerous Bloed Street
A man was killed on the high-risk Bloed Street in central Pretoria on Thursday.
A 42-year-old man was killed when he was struck by a minibus taxi on the corner of Bloed and Lillian Ngoyi streets in Pretoria near the Bloed Mall on Thursday morning.
Netcare 911 spokesperson Athlenda Mathe said reports from the scene indicated that the taxi collided with a vehicle then struck the man.
“The cause of the accident is subject to a police investigation and comment,” she said.
According to Mathe, the man was already dead when Netcare 911 paramedics arrived on the scene.
