A 75-year-old shot dead
Paramedics were called to a house where a man was shot in his upper body.
In the early hours of Wednesday morning, a 75-year-old man was found dead with a gunshot wound to his upper body at his home in Mamelodi, east of Pretoria.
Netcare 911 spokesperson Athlenda Mathe said, “When Netcare 911 paramedics arrived on scene, we found the old man in the bathroom with a fatal gunshot wound. The man had already died before our arrival.”
Mathe said the elderly man was declared dead on scene by a Netcare 911 paramedic.
The details leading to the fatal shooting are unknown and police could not be reached for comment by the time of publishing.
