Cop killers jailed

He was followed from a bank after withdrawing a large amount of cash in the city centre.

Four men convicted of killing police Major Abram Tselane were sentenced in the Pretoria High Court this week.

Bheki Mhlongo, Zukisa Headman and Nkosinathi Ndlovu were each jailed for 15 years.

Their co-accused, Mandiza Mayezana, was given a prison sentence of 32 years.

The four were found guilty of murder and robbery with aggravating circumstances.

Tselane was followed from a bank after withdrawing a large amount of cash in the city centre before he was murdered.

Police spokesperson Vishnu Naidoo praised the detectives involved in the case.

“The management of the police thanks the investigators involved for a job well done,” he said.
