Lynnwood Bridge jewellery store robbed
Jewellery store robbed by three armed men in broad daylight.
The Jenna Clifford jewellery store in Lynnwood Bridge shopping centre was robbed by three armed men on Saturday afternoon.
A reliable source from the scene said three well-dressed men entered the store before 12:00.
They held up the staff with an AK-47 rifle and a 9mm pistol.
It is was not immediately clear what they stole.
“When they fled the store, the mall’s security started throwing rocks at them. They retaliated by opening fire,” the source said.
“A bullet from the AK-47 hit a parked blue older model Ford Fiesta while one from the 9mm pistol hit a parked white car. No one was hurt.”
Police are yet to comment on the robbery.
