Man caught with dagga

The 51-year-old drug dealer was found with dagga weighing 52.20kg.

A 51-year-old man was caught with four hefty bags of dagga in his possession in Mabopane on Thursday, police said.

Spokesperson Captain Rheneith Motlana said this happened around 7:30 in Unit A.

“The Tshwane North cluster drug team together with crime intelligence members went to the dealer’s house after they received a tip of.”

“Upon their arrival, the team confiscated four bags of dagga weighing 52.20 kg,” she said.

Motlana said the 51-year-old man was arrested on the scene.

“A case of possession of dagga was opened and the suspect is expected to appear before court soon,” she said.
