NEWSFLASH: Centurion woman shot dead
ER24 arrived to find another emergency service performing CPR on the woman in her dining room.
A 49-year-old woman was shot dead in her home in Centurion on Thursday night, ER24 said.
It said it was called to a Heuweloord house around 23:00 and found a team of other paramedics trying to revive the woman.
“ER24 immediately assisted… and initiated advanced life support interventions in a 40 minute operation,” spokesperson Russel Meiring said.
The woman was eventually declared dead on the scene.
“The details surrounding the incident are not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.”
Wierdabrug police could not provide comment at the time of publishing.
