NEWSFLASH: Chaos outside public prosecutor’s offices

The party leader said they wanted ‘action on white corruption’ and demanded to see Public Protector Thuli Madonsela.

There was drama at the public protector’s office in Pretoria today when Black First, Land First (BLF) leader Andile Mngxitama and his supporters stormed the building, The Citizen reported.

They demanded to see Public Protector Thuli Madonsela.

Security officials told them Madonsela was in Johannesburg doing charity work in honour of Nelson Mandela.

BLF members would have none of that and proceeded to occupy one of the offices.

Armed police had to be called when the party members refused to leave without being given an audience with Madonsela. There was a police helicopter flying overhead at the building.
