Tigers attack women in China park
“An investigation into the Beijing Badaling Wildlife World attack has been launched.”
A woman was killed and another severely injured after they were mauled by two Siberian tigers at a wildlife park in China on Saturday.
Video footage showed two tourists in an argument as they drove through a tiger enclosure at Beijing Badaling Wildlife World.
The female passenger then got out of the car and walked around to the driver’s door to continue the confrontation.
The woman was then attacked by a tiger from behind and dragged off.
The driver, a male, and an older woman who was in the back seat, both got out of the vehicle to rescue the woman.
But the older woman was then attacked by a second tiger that mauled her to death.
The NBC News reported the first victim of the attack sustained serious injuries but survived.
The male, was reportedly unharmed.
The Badaling Wildlife Park had since warned all tourists to keep car doors locked and windows closed when driving in the park and said an investigation into the attack had been launched.
