Stolen car found in the east

A man arrested after reaction officers traced a tracking signal of the stolen car on Thursday.

A man was arrested in the early hours of Thursday morning after he was tracked driving a stolen vehicle in Mamelodi.

Orange Fox Anti-Hijacking Unit and Tracetec traced and followed the white Toyota Tazz which was stolen in Witbank recently.

“We assisted Tracetec in tracing the car as we picked up the tracker’s signal,” said Orange Fox’s Marcé Bester.

He said the car was recovered in Mamelodi east with the help of the police.

“One suspect was arrested and transferred to Witbank.”
