Police probe firearm robbery

A docket for a house robbery was opened after two armed robbers ambushed a domestic worker and gardener in a house robbery in Sinoville at the weekend.
Police spokesperson Captain Johan van Dyk said investigating officers had taken fingerprints and statements from the victims.
“We are following every lead to find the attackers.”
Four armed men gained entry into a Sinoville residence on Saturday afternoon around 12:00.
Van Dyk said the men targeted the residence while the homeowners were in Rustenburg.
“The men found and overpowered the domestic worker and the gardener.”
They stole firearms and fled.
“A pistol and a hunting rifle were reported stolen,” he said.
The homeowners were notified shortly after the robbery.
