Police officer in court for alleged drug possession
“We can confirm one of our police officers was arrested in East Lynn today [Thursday].”
A police officer was arrested for alleged drug possession on Thursday.
Villeria police spokesperson Captain Koba Brits confirmed the arrest, but said information was still vague.
“We can confirm one of our police officers was arrested in East Lynn today [Thursday],” said Brits.
Asked whether the officer was arrested for drug possession, Britz said more information would follow as soon as all information was available.
She confirmed the officer would appear in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court on Friday.
