NEWSFLASH:Pedestrian hit by truck in Lyttelton
“The man sustained major injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital.”
A man is in a critical condition after he was hit by a truck in Lyttelton on Tuesday.
Orange Fox Security Solutions spokesperson Marce Bester said the man, who is believed to be in his 40s, was hit by a truck not far from the Lyttelton police station.
“Police called emergency services, which then came to assist the man. He was then taken to a nearby hospital by ER24‘s advanced life support team,” he said.
Tshwane metro police, Lyttelton police, CS1 Community Policing Forum and Orange Fox’s medical team were also on the scene.
Lyttelton police were unavailable for comment at the time of going to print.
