NEWSFLASH: Erasmia resident injured in shooting
The homeowner had gone outside to investigate a noise.
A man was shot when he went outside his home to investigate a suspicious noise on Thursday night.
Orange Fox Medical Rescue responded to the scene in Erasmia, and spokesperson Marcé Bester said the man was shot in the leg.
He said the man’s attacker stole laptops and cellphones from the residence.
The man was treated by the advanced life support team then transported to hospital by an ER24 ambulance.
Bester said the Erasmia police were investigating.
