Man in court for brother’s murder
“During the argument the 35-year-old ran to the kitchen, took a knife and stabbed his 26-year-old brother in the upper body.”
A 35-year-old man appeared in the Cullinan Magistrate’s Court on Monday, for the murder of his younger brother.
Police spokesperson Constable Connie Moganedi said the man whose name she withheld was arrested on Sunday in Cullinan after a lengthy manhunt.
She said an eyewitness claimed the two brothers were in Refilwe extension 3 in Cullinan when they allegedly had an argument over a memory card.
“During the argument, the 35-year-old ran to the kitchen, took a knife and stabbed his 26-year-old brother in the upper body.”
The 26-year-old died on the scene.
The man remains police custody and would appear in the court again on Monday week.
