Police still searching for attempted murder accused

Genga (48) is wanted for the alleged attempted murder of his wife on 25 February 2014.

Police are still searching for a Winterveldt man who allegedly tried to kill his wife in 2014.

Police spokesperson Petunia Chabangu said Tshabalala Mokhachane Genga (48) allegedly stabbed his wife with a screwdriver several times in the upper body and in the face on 25 February.

He then fled on foot around 22:00.

This happened at the couple’s home in Slovoville phase 3, Winterveldt.

“Since he committed the offence, he has disappeared,” said Chabangu.

Chabangu appealed to residents to assist with information that may lead to Genga’s arrest.
