Mamelodi police are looking for this man in connection with an armed robbery case.
The Mamelodi police are looking for the man in this identikit in connection with an armed robbery in Mamelodi East.
Police spokesperson Captain Michael Mbewe said the the man and his accomplice allegedly robbed a motorist and took his firearm.
“The man held the victim up at gunpoint at a stop sign and took his licensed firearm on 26 July, in Mamelodi East, during the day,” said Mbewe.
The complainant only managed to identify [describe] this man, and said he is believed to be between the age of 35 and 40.”
Mbewe warned residents against trying to apprehend the man if they spotted him, asking them to instead notify the police.
“He may be armed and dangerous,” said Mbewe.
Anyone who knows where he is, is asked to call the police on 08600-10111.
