Double header: Bulls and Sundowns in finals
Both Mamelodi Sundowns and the Blue Bulls will play their respective finals on Saturday.
Sports fans can look forward to exciting matches in both football and rugby as both Mamelodi Sundowns and Blue Bulls play their respective finals this weekend.
The Blue Bulls travel to the Toyota stadium in Bloemfontein to take on the Cheetahs on Saturday afternoon.
The Pretoria side battled hard to book a place in the Currie Cup final after a 36-30 home win against the Western Province last Saturday.
The Cheetahs on the other hand, made light work of last year’s Currie Cup winners – Lions.
They annihilated the Lions 55-17 in the semis.
On Sunday, Sundowns will battle Zamalek in the second leg of the CAF Champions League in Alexandria, Egypt.

The Brazilians have one hand on the trophy having beaten the Egyptians 3-0 last Saturday at the Lucas Moripe stadium.
Nakedi Phala, who has been a Sundowns supporter since 1999, said the game was already in the bag.
“The star is ours. They have sealed the deal at home and that’s how it’s supposed to be. If you do a stunning job at home then an away game becomes a formality somewhat.”
“That team (Zamalek) will need to play the best game in their history to win the trophy.”
Sundowns spokesperson Thulani Thuswa said the team would depart to Cairo on Wednesday afternoon ahead of Sunday’s encounter.
