Randburg Sun reported that a man was arrested in connection with an attempted rape in Delta Park.
Linden Police spokesperson, Captain Walter Spencer, said that the victim is currently at the police station being interviewed, Randburg Sun reported.
According to Spencer, the victim, a 34-year-old woman was at Delta Park together with her daughter (5) on 26 November at about 12pm taking a walk when she saw a suspicious male by the trees near the Delta Park school. He approached them and grabbed the victim and pinned her to the ground. He tried to remove her skirt but she fought him and screamed, Randburg Sun reported.
