A Translux bus caught fire on Lynwood Road near Rubida Street in Die Wilgers on Sunday evening.

Ward councillor Pieter van Heerden said the fire department was on the scene and the fire had been put out.
Tshwane Emergency Services spokesperson Johan Pieterse said he was not aware of the fire.
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes as emergency services were still on the scene.
