Three remain in custody after dramatic car chase
A firearm, two TVs, and a high-tech signal jammer were found in their possession.
Three men remain in police custody after a brief court appearance following a chase with police recently.
Thabang Lukhele (30), Steve Kubjane (35) and Peter Madisha (28) were denied bail in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court last Friday.
Garsfontein police Captain Ilze Jones said the trio would appear in court again on 4 May.
She said the men were facing charges of possession of a stolen vehicle, house robbery, possession of a firearm and possession of house breaking implements.

The three men were arrested in La Montagne in the east of Pretoria on Thursday.
Jones said the men were arrested after they crashed into two motorists in an attempt to escape capture during a dramatic car chase that started in Die Wilgers and ended in La Montage.
The three were spotted in Die Wilgers by a police during a routine patrol.
They fled when they saw police.
A chase ensued around around 14:00.
She said the chase continued on Simon Vermooten Road, where the culprits crashed into a motorist.

The perpetrators then took a left into Albertus Street were they crashed into a second motorist, culminating in their arrest.
She said Lukhele, Kubjane and Madisha sustained minor injuries.

The men were linked to a robbery in Brooklyn on the same day.
